ABOUT US

NATSA-WIC was founded by graduate students at University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013. NATSA-WIC shares the same goal with its parent organization, NATSA, which is to encourage scholars and students who study Taiwan from different disciplines to think broadly and creatively about how these sub-themes can interact and contribute to Taiwan studies. NATSA-WIC is thus founded in the hope to provide a forum where students and scholars in Wisconsin and nearby Midwest who are specialized or interested in Taiwan studies can meet and exchange intellectual ideas.

To promote Taiwan studies and engage Taiwan studies scholars, this website serves as an information platform for academic resources, conference news, and workshop discussions.
